Building on the series of successful seminars which South Yorkshire Forest Partnership (SYFP) held in October 2009 and June 2010 as well as the comprehensive survey of Private Forest Owners undertaken in February 2010, we would like to inform you of the continued developments with this project.
SYFP have been assisting Private Forest Owners (PFO’s) in assessing the requirements of their woodlands, providing support in drawing up Woodland Management Plans (WMP) and helping to apply for Forestry Commission grants for either a WMP or the full English Woodland Grant Scheme itself (EWGS) including higher value "Bird WIGS”
The following events are part of the ongoing information sharing and progressive support SYFP is offering to both Private Forest Owners and to the woodfuel supply chain.
