In the AFO-project, ApE is responsible for all national activities in Slovenia.

ApE Agencija za prestrukturiranje energetike d.o.o. - Energy Restructuring Agency Ltd. was established in 1991 as a private company with the agreement and support of the Ministry for Energy of the Republic of Slovenia. ApE is one of the leading Slovenian independent consulting companies in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. ApE employs a staff of 8 high-qualified experts, the expertise of the permanent staff members ranges across the technical, environmental and economic disciplines.

ApE's main services to the costumers are analysis, consulting, feasibility studies, implementation and dissemination. ApE analyses energy problems of technical, structural, financial, legal, environmental and behavioural nature, presents recommendations for actions, offers information to decision makers, and addresses the appropriate public audience. ApE develops long-term strategies for sustainable development mainly in the field of renewable energy sources. In this respect ApE developed in the past a good collaboration with partners from EU and the CEE countries. ApE gives assistance to prototype experiences, evaluates its results and promotes the diffusion of information regarding new developments and tools.

ApE gives technical and economical support to the process of market diffusion of energy efficient technologies and renewable energy sources. The company organises workshops, conferences and symposia and gives assistance to the interested partners and investors for the participation in Slovenian and EU energy programs. ApE offers support to relevant Slovenian ministries and broad number of municipalities and enterprises.
